Colin Westmoreland is the Senior Vice President, Telecommunications, Information Technology and Energy, responsible for the strategic direction and daily operations of our relevant divisions. Colin has over twenty-five years experience designing architecture and deploying information and telecommunications networks.Specifically, Colin designed and deployed US$1.5 billions of the most technologically advanced networks in the world to transmit and store multimedia (video, data, and voice) content. By strategically aligning with world-class technology leaders, Colin provided clients with the best in class in Information Technology and Telecommunications products and services. His products and services ensure that clients enjoy the full benefits of the Information Technology revolution.
Colin received his Telecommunications Engineering training at the Royal School of Signals, United Kingdom Army, graduated from the City College of New York with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Electro-Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Information Systems. He also holds graduate degrees from PolytechnicsUniversity in Distributed Computer Systems Engineering and Computer Science and a post graduate diploma in Relational Database System Management from ColumbiaUniversity.
Having completed his basic and advanced PV training and courses in PV permitting documentation and Solar Sales, Colin is in the process of obtaining his certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) and as an Eligible New York (NYSERDA) installer for residential and commercial photovoltaic systems. Colin is RCI’s inhouse design expert for PV solar systems.
He was a Maintenance Switching Engineer for Microwave Communications Inc. (MCI), Senior Engineer, Advanced Customer Network, NYNEX, Manager, Strategic Planning, Bell Atlantic and Consulting Technical Member of Staff Network Planning, Verizon Global Network Inc. and as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, Verizon Technology Organization.
